back to the thread (as i am currently searching for a way to make lords killable) so how about his actual suggestions?  I like the majority of them - how do we get it into game?

Wenching was suggested before, but the suggester said that there's a chance that the character gets the wench pregnant. 

Would that really be a problem? I mean its not like having bastards was particularly frowned upon in the sort of era M&B's set in.

She'd probably just need some..."maternity leave" for a bit...

Well.. Then its the rating of a game again...

Its not good to have too much.. you know.. sex stuff in a game rated "12+"..

But.. For the question "What about female characters?", well.. You could always fine a lord to.. you know.. give you something in return.. Could be an enemy lord giving you permission to access his castle.. Something like that..

But still, its not suited for this game..

There's a number of suggestions here, beyond wenching, that I think are sterling.  Anything that fleshes out the game experience a bit more is aces in my book.
