Weird rare game destroying bug

So I was doing the quest for a missing daughter and I asked a villager where she was. The village was morhig if it helps. He took me through the village and started going taking me through the forrest on a hidden path. I was on a horse and he was slow so I followed the path and beat him to the missing daughter. I started dialogue and then he came up behind me and said “here she is” or whatever and there were two bits of dialogue overlayed. The whole thing bugged out and now I can’t participate in dialogue with anyone and the game just freezes everytime I push F to talk. F. Rip 20 in game days to my last save.

Actually I went to an old save file and dialogue doesn’t work at all. Rip the whole allnighter.

Hey! Good news! Verify integrity thru steam solved the problem. This shouldn’t be hard to fix and could stop a couple of consumer from having their heart crushed and almost rage quitting.

Might try this then, got some weird bug where im stuck at a city now, cant Walk more then a Couple o meters o the city without the game crashing and this is around 70 Days Into the game:S

Good to hear the verifying worked, everyone should try it if things go game-breaking. In the meantime devs will know what the bug is and look into fixing it

Oh ****... then i guess my save with tha character is ****ed then hope they patch this fast.

I fixed this by holding tab to leave and talking to her again, but I also didn't crash out like you guys.
