Weird Performance loss?

Hello.
So I have recently started playing VK on my crappy laptop, and well at first I had 10-15 fps in any type of a battle.
So natural I started messing with the settings achieving no performance boost, but then randomly when in the "travel/map mode" I went to play with the settings for the last time. And boom! I changed "use_instancing = 1" to "use_instancing = 0" and changed to use fast water reflections. and wham I had decent frames from 45-50. The most the frames would fall to 25 but that would be in a tree surrounded area, so I could play the game and enjoy it.  :shifty: :iamamoron:
But then thanks to my retarded brain I decided to change the character details and shadows to high. Once I did that I instantly went back to 10-15 fps in battles. And now no matter what I change in the settings I get the same 10-15 fps.

Also even in the menu I used to get 120 frames. But after the change I noticed that I only get 51 fps.

So here is my question. how the "F" I managed to bug/mess up the settings to get better frames what was the cause of that? :?:

Here is my "rgl_config.txt" file.

Also I have tried to...
delete the Mount&Blade Warband located at documents,
reinstall the game,
mess around with the resolutions,
mess around with the compatibility modes,
setting the priority to high.

At the moment I'm updating my video drivers so I will update this if that helped or not.

Hi Feikas,

Check the other issues reports, take a look of what is always required (
Share you rgl_config) and specially check the other performance threads.
You will find some performance advices (like force_single_threading=1)and some tips to improve it.

The game, in a "crappy laptop" might be near the limits.

Go to documents your mount and blade folder and delete rgl_config and do what you did with settings again. Thats what i did when i broke my settings and it worked for me.
