Alright, I'm sure most of you have run into problems with warband crashing and giving the "Mount and Blade:Warband has stopped working" message. I bought this game the day it came out, and have been playing on the same computer ever since. I think I had this same sort of issue a year or two ago, but I fixed it by deleting the RGL_Config file.
Yet, this issue has started up again, and it seems to have evolved into a bigger bastard. Everytime I start up the game and get on multi-player games, it crashes within a minute or so. However, half the time it crashes, my monitor just goes black; I can't get back onto windows, and I can't interface with my computer at all. The only way to get it working is to just press the power button and restart the computer. I talked to a guy from Geek Squad and he said it might be my graphics card getting dusty. I cleaned it, but it didn't seem to actually help much. Low and behold, just recently the same issue has started happening on my laptop, of which was also running the game fine not too long ago.
Does anyone have an idea of where to go with this, or at least able to point me in the right direction?
