Something strange happened during a siege.
The Town in question is Uxkhal and it was/is my fief. I am a vassal of Swadia and the town was under siege by the Rhodok.
In an attempt to cull their numbers I stood nearby as bait to see if I could split some of their lords from the main army, another swadian lord helped me with that aswell. We engaged one small army and won, and right after this, the other lord engaged one more Rhodok party. At this point I clicked to join the battle, but as it often happens, they disengaged before I could reach them and I ended up in the dialogue screen, where instead of the usual 4 dialogue options you get when engaging and enemy, I was asked to lend him my surgeon and I accepted because I'm a nice guy.
Right after that I was back to the world map, the time accelerated as if I was hold ctrl-space (I am not completely sure this is how the surgeon quest was supposed to be, but it might be as intended), the problem however is that while this speed-up due to a quest was going on, the Rhodok army started the siege battle and all I could distinguish was the camera following something into the siege. Everything happened automatically and I found myself defending the town in a siege battle.
My position when this started was half way between the south river and the town (closer to the river actually). I managed to win the siege (or so I though) and after going through the kill and losses screen I found myself on the world map again, with my army standing exactely where I left it, close to the river. The siege carried on for a few more seconds (this time the game was paused and it was me advancing time ahead), the town fell and the enemy charged me. My guess is that I remained where I was and the camera simply followed the enemy lord into the siege, I joined because my companion was in his army.
The next time I did a "lend your companion to a lord" quest I lent Nissa. It was right after the abovementioned siege, I had 4/70 soldiers alive (the siege I was dragged in was a 150 vs 600 and I was surprised I survived the battle) and could not escape because I was too slow, the first enemy lord to reach me, instead of engaging me, asked me to lend Nissa to him (or at least I think it went like that, the action was frantic and I was pissed for having lost half my army, so my memory is a bit blurry). What matter though is that my companion joined the enemy lord and was supposed to stay there for about a week, and right after that I surrendered to the enemy and got captured.
Right after escaping I started looking for the companions I had lost and when the war was over I started looking for the lord who had Nissa. Suddenly the quest failed and now the I can't check who was the lord in question, her name doesn't appear in the explorers' dialogue option when I ask them to find my companions and almost a month has passed (so I don't think she's still a prisoner)
Anyone has any idea about how to recover her? A way to edit some txt file to add her to the party maybe?
