Weird Bug

Not only have I seen this happen to bad guys, but it happened to my character on a number of occassions!
I'm running ver 0.632. I can replicate this error fairly easily (about 25% recurrance) by running backwards off a steep hill while firing my bow.
First I slide to the bottom then mystically fly back to the top where I'm dealt damage, generally about 24-30 points. I can still shoot while 'flying' however the first time it happened I couldn't move when I reached the top (I could rotate around, I just couldn't move laterally). Later recurrances allows me normal movement once I reach the top and take my damage.
I can understand taking falling damage, but why does the damage only occur when I reach the top? It dosn't seem to occur if I run down a cliff face first.
I'm running the game from a Toshiba Laptop so I wonder if the error has anything to do with the cut down graphics card.

I think this happens whenever you... clip into an object. It happened to me..
1. I was jumping around (dont ask why) and i jumped to door of happy boar. when i thought i hit my head on the sign, i went straight inside it. Then i started going higher and higher. I could draw a weapon etc but not jump or move. I think i didnt take any damage since i was in town. Then i pressed tab and quit to map screen and it was gone.
2. I tried to enter the tournament area while i was watching, and succeeded later. But on my first try i got inside the wooden uhm, dont know a word to cover but i could say.. walls? anyway youve got point i guess. Then i started going higher and higher. The rest is same. I think no damage becouse i was in town (not in tournament so no damage taken or given) i escaped with tab again.

I just got this bug. I was playing with that mod which gives you 500% army size. Anyway, my army spawned in the middle on a giant crater with steep sides. Once the enemy came along and rode down the crater, people started flying upwards and getting knocked out.

As long as the game doesn't freeze up or crash I just laugh and keep playing. I love the screenshot. Reminds me of that wizard in Morrowind who falls from the sky and has those "flying" scrolls on his dead body.

I HATE this bug, theres gotta be more people that have had this done to them than you guys. It's just happened to me today, but for the first time that i've actually cared. I was fighting, and kicking ass i would vainly like to add 
, against some random war party when i started floating up into the air... i knew exactly what was going to happen, me...unconcsious.
it wouldnt be so bad but i had just started recruiting the almost impossible dark knights and the outcome of that section of the battle just had to have 2 of my dark knights killed which wouldn't of happened if i hadn't of been unjustly err....floated?
