When is your next stream?

Could you possibly do a tutorial on combing multiple UV maps and textures into a single material?

Starting. Join if you want.

Edit: Alrighty, It didn't go as planned. The ati drivers caused problems, resulting in vpu recovery and eventually, a bsod. I need to fix this before continuing. Also, it didn't upload the vid at all. Ill try to upload it to youtube if I can.

Edit2: It did upload, which is good. But still, I wont be able to continue before I fix this. And the fact is, it doesn't seem to be to easy. I have already contacted amd support a few times over this issue.

A blue screen? Ikaguia and me were talking about your sudden ragequit on the chat.
What a pity mate. I'll be tracking this from now. Everyone can learn from you.

 Yes I read  Nah, I wouldn't ragequit like that. I need to contact amd support again. Hopefully, Ill get a decent answer now.
Cool :3 Ill try to do more tutorials. Had a bigger one in mind. Basically a "creater your own mod course/guide" whatever.

Alrighty, finished the sword modeling tut. It's in three parts. Make sure to watch em all

http://livestre.am/10ixm Part 1

http://livestre.am/10iLv Part 2

http://livestre.am/10jMu Part 3

Ill continue off to texturing if anybody is interested.

Oh and the result of the sword right now without texture :

I followed the helmet modelling tutorial, and was actually pleased with the outcome.

Though it doesn't look that great (as I didn't want to copy your helmet design, Lol)... it helped me get the basics done.
Thanks for posting this.

Edit: My helmet...kind of stupid looking... but in about 15 minutes of work as a first shot... not bad.
Oh, in those fifteen minutes I created a normalmap, specular, and the diffuse as well. Hahaha

I'm trying to make an M42 helm now. I found something really useful....

Instead of using a picture as a reference... take a picture from the front, and a picture from the side. Line them up with the model and then make your helmet.

If you want to get really picky, make 5-10 locked image planes and model from those. I may try that next.

I tried modeling a car without wheels (really just a detailed box) and got about 30 seconds in... realized I needed a bit more experience first.

What would that be...perspective modeling, correct?

Oh and about that tut, Ill do another one with a european helmet as the eastern one was my first try. Didn't turn out the best.
