Nobody took pix? :<

Also, 's starting to look like warms are done with for this year

Same here, Toto.

I feel like the smoke particles have been giving me a bit of a sore throat. I don't doubt that they're the reason for all the fog and drizzle these past few days since it's usually either clear or cold after a small storm.

Everyone's cars are covered in sand.

Maybe we should construct a mighty dome around the British Isles to keep out all of these migrant sand grains?

Some of the dust will be useful for our plants; what we need is a filter that let's in the ones that will benefit us, and keep the rest out. And don't let any of the immigrant dust get rain on it during the assessment period, we can't let them have any benefits until they've been accepted. But there's no rush, we'll just keep most of the dust in large warehouses for a few years whilst we slowly admit a trickle into our fields. Satire!

Some of it might be from those big piles of spice they have in their markets, sitting out in the air.

In Budapest for a few weeks and its been beautiful since I got here, but it's just started raining and is due to last all weekend. Annoying since I decided to ship my girlfriend out to join me for the weekend.  :meh:

Someone staying with me has been struggling as well. Apart from a year in Australia, she's lived in the UAE for most of her life.

95-100% humidity. Outside temperature is just 14ºC, but it feels like the cold is coming from inside the body  :dead:

It was 42° the other day  in here. Also super humid. I just stayed in bed all day till the bed was soaked in sweat

Not a single ray of light in last a few days, I have to keep lights on in my room despite having all the curtains open because it's so dim. My circadian rhythm survives merely thanks to artificial light. And there's this heavy heavy heavy wind today which almost got me into a bike accident two times. I understand why brits were(and are) so interested in other people's lands to get away from this miserable island.

****ing hell a bird JUST crashed into my window because of wind

edit nothing broken bird alive

It has been sunny for five consecutive days.  On the positive side sunny days feel much more special over here, and I felt very lucky.   Most of the time the sky was clear as well. It gives some chilly mornings but it's definitely worth it. But I'm still not used to the angle of sun in northern country. You never see it above your head, there are always shadows and it gets as high as table lamp angle. Maybe that table lamp effect is why northern people are more productive.

It's been a while since I've experienced hail. I was in my car at the time so it was quite nice feeling in the midst of it all, what with all the hail hitting the windscreen and side windows.
