Hello,
I tried to add new weapons from OSP Weapons Pack to my mod, all went well but in game the weapons are in wrong position. The weapons are like along the Z-axis as they should be along the X-axis. How can I put the weapons straight?

well you can either manually rotate them, which is a bit of a chore. However what I did is export the mesh, then import the obj back into brfedit. It comes up with a pop-up where you can select or deselect something like 'flip y/z axis' or something similar. Whichever it's not set to default is the one you want.

Takes less time that way.

This is what I do:

1. Export similar native model with brf editor
2. Import native model to my new model
3. Scale/position my model using the native as a reference
4. Delete native model in 3D editor
5. Save as .obj and import in brf editor without changing settings in the dialog

You may be able to rotate and scale with brf edit if you want to skip the export/edit/import sequence.

you can rotate in brf but for me it doesn't work very well and you can properly see what's going on.

I don't bother with the whole thing shagrath mentions since the OSP models should already be placed and scaled properly, it's just that they're flipped on one axis (at least the ones I've seen). Exporting and reimporting takes a few seconds and solves that problem.

It's just what I do when I make a model, never had any problems. But as you stated, it's not necessary, just playing safe .
