Two ideas I just thought up were weapon durability (wooden staffs 250, lances 400, axes 650, swords 750+) where a weapon can only take so much before being destroyed and crossbow whacking where you can hit people with a crossbow when you run out of bolts. Negative modifyers on weapons such as bent, cracked, rusty etc. will affect durability.
