Ha! But science isn't a matter of "belief." Science is really a question of: "do you accept these findings or not?" Belief is needed in the absence of facts and tangible, observable phenomena. Science tests and observes these facts and phenomena.

Not a belief system... Science is science.

In scientific vernacular - if you are dating someone and they come home late and smell like someone else's cologne then you may develop an hypothesis that they are cheating on you... But if you catch them in an embrace kissing someone else AND other professionals concur that that is what happened - then and only then can that hypothesis now be elevated to theory level...

That's the difference between scientific vernacular and the everyday colloquial meaning of theory.
