I have a dream....lol

Well I guess I should start different ahm well FIRST thing first I'm not interested in gaining any power, fortune, fame or whatever, I am not trying to steal someone's glory. I won't pay or organize or sponsor anything.

All I wanna do is have some fun haha.

The idea is a league for clans, a league we all know from sports (football (soccer)) for example, with fixtures, matchdays every week, schedules, table, the whole package.

In a first step I want you to discuss this topic with your friends, maybe translate it and open a own thread on your language board.

Then, second, every clan who would be interested to join the league please signs up in this topic.

There is no deadline of course but it should be possible to respond during the next two weeks.

Then, third step, the clan leaders or their representatives speak together to fix the rules in detail. Numbers of players in each team, friendly fire settings, etc.

I'd suggest to bring something like a home advantage in, to let the home team choose the map and faction and the visitors have to deal with it.

If anyone would like to organize, step forward, the job is yours. If the clans of the league accept you, of course.

One last thing. Please be gentle. There is no need to make friends with everybody, but be friendly. Different opinions should always be allowed, and at least tolerated.

As is our way, the Hoboknights will be the first to decline our participation.  (Which isn't to say it's necessarily a bad idea)

Maybe mostly for EU...

The leagues are called campaigns most of the time.

Maybe I messed it up. What I am talking about is something like this:

You could have said you are scared of losing as well.
Of course I am trying to convince you to change your mind.

Nice idea, but I would rather see statistics of various clan battles reported to a global table. No forced matches etc.

We tried this in a game I played a while ago and it went really well. In the beginning, at least. The main problem we had, that doesn't seem to be the case in M&B, was that we had a hard time mustering sufficient amounts of players for the matches. Then, of course, people started to lose interest in the league, but that was because of the fact that matches a lot of times had to be reschedueled due to the lack of players.

A lot of people are participating in the online campaign(s?) though. And in my opinion, such a thing is a bit better suited for M&B than leagues are. It just fits the theme better to conquer territory and all that. Keep it medieval, so to speak.

Also, what Mulek said. Instead of having to visit each clan's website to see the matches they've played, it'd be more convenient if all clans uploaded scores and screenshots to one single site.

You should do it, seeing as you started the thread.

But if you really want to do it I think it'd be better to wait until Nations Cup is finished. A lot of players are pretty strained as it is now, what with the clan trainings and matches, plus the trainings with the national team for Nations Cup. To have league matches on top of that would probably be a bit too much for an online game.

Still, what Mulek said would be great. Just somewhere for clans to upload official clan matches, if they want.

I like the campaigns more. The idea in them is that you get more than just regular battles.

Imo this is a good idea and I have actually waited for something similiar to this.

Waited?
What about the the one hosted by RS?
Not really waiting then, more like avoiding.
