I agree, but still the chance that those people will actually draw experience from this situation is unfortunately, zero.

Y'know guys, someone should make a big, big, BIG welcoming post on the Index page, or at least when you enter Pioneer's Guild, on the front page, visible to all, no matter if you're actually viewing any topics, stating :

YE OLDE GOLDEN RULES OF OUR FAIR PIONEER'S GUILD: 1. Thou shalt not request for a release date. 2. Thou shalt read the first bloody post to check if it is for original or warband. GOT THAT MOTHER****ERS?!?!?!

I hope that'd put 'em in check. But my bet's : Probably not.

ok,ok,ok. i didnt know that i am new too that kind of stuff

Well maybe you should have searched around a little bit, i'm sure you would have found a tonne of members asking(actually more like shouting at) recruits not to ask for release dates, i'm sure from this lesson you will understand that you must NEVER ask for a release date and to always check the 1st post.

Agreed, when will the mod be released?

(JK  )

No, but I'm really looking forward to having some realism inside Mount & Blade ^^

Um, how do you plan on implementing a Do-it-yourself assassination kit. M&B has no stealth system, whatsoever (Captain Obvious TO THE RESCUE). Are you going to build it from scratch, or will it be all in text?

The do it yourself is going to be more of a quest really.
Depending on certain skills (still to be decided) you will have several rooms which are in effect scenes that you will go through.
If you have no skill at all, you'll end up having to fight 3 rooms for example with fighters being very powerful.
Once this unnamed skill is high enough, you'll be able to jump directly toward the King/Lord's scene and end their life.

^ this is what I had in mind.
I haven't looked into the actual possiblities yet, because I'm committed to finishing all of the research before starting on anything. Research involves finding what will be and will not be possible with my limited capabilities seeing as this is my first project =p

will the tropps from the arbaic nations use the weapon call scimitar or i arabic called saif? because i think that is the weapon is used by the arabs back then.

It is far more complicated. A scimitar can't be called saif (which means sword), and this is a Central Asian/Turkish weapon, although some Arabs of Middle East used it. Besides, there were Arabs from Spain to Irak, and there were huge differences between them. You will never see an Andalusian with a scimitar, for example.

no you see the scimitar was used by the Arabs because its light weight. especially in the desert because you dint get tired easily whit it. and in most Arabic homes you can see that weapon as a decoration. in many pictures draw by Arabs with describe the medieval Arabia. you can see that weapon and many movies by the Arabs PS sorry for may bad English i am Lebanese
