Hi folks,
1st alhpa be warned....
EDIT 1 THE LINK BELOW IS NOT NOT NOT MY MOD BUT THE ONE YOU NEED TO HAVE PLAYED TO BECOME  the 1st Tester with full faction to control! others who wanna play as mere warriors or Lords on battlefield do not need to fullyfiy that

Ok this wont be easy to explain. To understand this you need to have played Egberts Battle timehttp://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,150827.0.html  As my mod is made out of its very root.

At the end of that text you will understand that this is meant to become a roundbased breakdown of native campaign map, which can be played for the given factions on it. Max players at campaign map will be number of existing factions for now but only 1 after the other there is no campaign map server. There is not such a limit for the fightings and there are much more warriors needed on the battlefield.

You wont have a player Party but use it to pick up the lords of your faction and move em one after the other a limited map reach.

Battle time allows you to play singleplayer campaign AND upoad the Battles, sieges and alot of other encounters and play em in Multiplayer at an dedicated server!

People used that to share their Singleplayer games and fight the  battles and such with their friends together.
This is great and the only thing i found pitty / misssing was on how to play against each other!
And how not to have only one player moving things on map.

Here is what i have done:
Stopped the faction lords to run around map when player party is moving> they are meant to move only if you picked em up now!

By right click on party you get menu option:"Attach to my warband"                                                          thanks to Somebody

1) with this or in an dialogue you might pick up all (if you want) of your factions armies one after another and move em for an ingame map limit time of 8 hours in the direction you want em to.

2) you might have attacked something already if so you upload that encounter like Egbert enabled us to do and we will play it against each other on a dedicated server:

Now you simply take your "save game" folder and send it to your friend/enemy he loads up your saved game aand starts his round and moves all armies of 2nd faction  and so on....

This is not a native+ this mod  but trying to use native as an strategic campaign map simulator.

Many things are not possible buggy or not approbiate to the mods idea but in your reach. This is easy to abuse you cant play this with against someone you dont trust.
Anyway i made progress with garrison lords and let em disappear after getting defeated. Now i want to test it if its working so far.

It dazzles me that people arent all over this already.

 
Thank you very much but then ppl will expect a multiplayer server on which they all can run arround raise their armies and have multiplayer battles out of it!

This is not the case i even think  i would not want this!
This is roundbased, it is strategic for those players only who guide the factions BUT all participants can raise their swords for their favourite side in fully multiplayer combats!
And Players who get Lord or other charakters control in the Multiplayer games will even get commanding competences in the Multiplayer part of the game.

Edit1) sorry but one thing is important Egbert and now me did this with Native v1.53...it might be difficult but surely possible to port this to newer version AND Put other themes in it. If both source codes are availible. You can put orcs, Star-troopers, jedis, and whatever into it since Egberts work is osp juxst like my humble changes to it.
 
This looks really cool, but I'm a little confused by the concept. So you it works kind of like a round-based hotseat game like Civ 5 or Total War? Or does it happen in real time? Do you like pass the save to another person so they can make their move or what?
 
See in a hotseat session you play your faction, mainly controlling movement and optionally actions of your armies, economical. tactical, or diplomatical units.
In almost all of that hotseat strat-games you can use ALL your units and actions one after another.
So nothing would change in total war hot seat  if you d simply play alone your factions round but taking after your round the save game folder and send it your opponent.
He could load it up and start his round. Et voila roundbased startegic campaign. Not rly Multiplayer on world map but playable for multiple players most likely in the nuimber of factions existing on it.
and yes It is meant to be like Total war though this was my intension since i played my first Multiplayer Warband combat. :D

Edit 2) cmon everyone who managed to play  "Battle time" is invited and i can explain you all the other stuff in the ingame chat if we dont find bettter way.

I want to test, but can you explain what this mod enables in a few sentences? I read through the post but I do not completely understand what your mods entails.

-The mod makes you play your faction right from the beginning.

-You ll move their armies while the enemy faction wont move at all.  Instead of playing your player and his army you only use it to pick faction armies.

You send battles you started and save game of your moves to me and/or next player.

-Battles become uploaded to Multiplayer matches.
After this the player who controls enemy faction gets save game loads it up and plays his faction right from that point.
Doing all just as you.
So you did play "Battle Time" thi is important for understanding link is in my 1st post.
