Hello there modding community!

This smallish multiplayer mod for mount and blade warband is based on the song of ice and fire series, specifically the numerous battles that were fought between The King in the North and House Lannister.

This mod will include two factions:

  The king in the North and the Trident

    House Lannister


I plan to have 4 tiers of class. Basic classes which include most of the normal troops types, noble classes which will be made up of elite troops belonging to the major houses, the captain class which will be lesser leaders in westeros such as Kevan Lannister or Rodrik Cassel, and the hero class which will consist off the major players of Westeros such as Robb Stark or Jaime Lannister.

Planned Features:

Maps for the major battles such as Whispering Wood, the Green Fork, the Fords, Riverrun and more.

More brutal combat, horses won't be able to take 5 arrows in the face now.

Reduced accuracy of ranged units and reduced speed.

Possibly a Raiding game mode.

Possibly implement hero characters for each house.

The Nights Watch
I also plan to make a invasion style mode of the Nights Watch vs the Others!

How you can help:

What I need more than anything is ideas. I need ideas for tier 1 Armour for all the northern troops and a tier 4 Armour for the clegeanes. Also I need ideas for Lannister armour and possible suggestions for the Crakehall footman, in fact if anyone can think of a more suitable class that would be appreciated.

I'm aware of that, but this mod will focus solely on multiplayer and a specific war. Whilst this mod might be small in scale I intend for it to be fairly in depth. I aim to have hero rewards, kill streak rewards and a leveling up system.

GoT is the bigger project about the Westeros universe, it will certainly take a lot of time until they give us something playable.
Dindi u can use some of Asoif mod stuff (like some Queen Pink's armour ,it's a shame that no one can use her stuff right now) if u want.

Don't forget to credit her . Same for some of the heraldry (for example Glover is a fist)

Ok,here's a bunch of units I remember:
Harrenhal Spearmen(Janos Slynt's)-Heavy infantry with golden mail and black plate.Focus on defense and resistence but slow.You could use Ornate Mail Chubrug from Narf's Transitional armor pack.I have a helmet made for'em if u want.
Ser Amory's Foragers-Archers maybe,using decent bows,with weak armor and melee.
Ashemark Outriders(Keep Outrider for these and change the Tully's to Tully Horsemen or Tully Vanguard)-Light cavalry with torches.Torches are here:http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,149853.msg3604107.html#msg3604107
3 types of torches:
Wooden Torch
Brazier Torch
Spiked Brazier Torch

I like your ideas for Harrenhal Spearmen and Ser Amory's Foragers! And I could give clegane raiders torches maybe.

Indeed they did, the mountain clans of the vale, they could be a light infantry/berserk infantry unit!

Also I think I've nearly got the heroes working now!
