I have to agree with Gaham1 on this... you need to start by doing things like mabye try your hand in modeling or texturing, there are lot of great toutorials on these topic in the forge.

And never give up no matter what, because you will always get hard times when moding the real chanlange is how you handel and come back with it

Although sadly I may not be able to offer any technical skills to the team, I would like to say that this is an idea I've often wondered about and should it be pulled off, would likely be an absolutely fantastic mod. Good luck to you, I'll be following this closely

If this mod is a serious project, then I think you should make it a Skyrim civil war mod.  Empire vs Stormcloaks (maybe each hold should be its own faction) would be much simpler and easier to do properly than the entire continent. I also think that who ever wants to make a Skyrim mod should give up on:
The voice
Magic
Dragons
Dual wielding
Beast races

Any well made TES mod would be awesome though.

The Voice - Not sure how that'd work.
Magic - easy.
Dragons - would be hilarious, unless these guys spent hours animating and coding.
Dual wielding - Not too bad logistically.
Beast races - why the hell not?

Gaham, perhaps you should let this guy show his colours before you damn him to hell.

Don't give up, and learn stuff. It's tough, but the rewards are at the end of the tunnel.

good luck with this, and i don't mean to jinx this mod, but i hope bethasoft doesn't send a cease and desist mail due to copyright isues, because that would kinda suck

Bethesda doesn't care about signatures, and that's all this thread is about for 2 months already.
Given that serious modders make a lot of their work in their first few months, it's practically dead.
