If I could throw in my 2 cents,
I know this might sound racist to some, but is there anyway you can edit the way faces are generated?
I really want to see Japanese facial features, and less of that blond/red hair.
Also, I know this might be a little late in, but I think you guys should work on your bumpmaps, especially on those armors, they look a tad flat.

Otherwise, you guys are doing great, keep it up and I can't wait for this!
 
I can't see how that is racist. And it is possible. At least when it come to face textures and hair colours, but it is also possible to add completely new hair and beard styles I believe (with 97% security).
 
However i know how to put in the face codes but idk how to generate them if some ppl can generate the codes and give them to me then i can switch them.
 
a few questions

I think Bushido would be the cool name for this  :grin:

1. Is this trying to be historicaly accurate and realistic?

2. what time period of the sengoku era is this? After nobunaga siezed the capital? that seems liek the most logical thing.

3. Is Musashi Miyamoto going to be in this??? :grin:

2. after the Death of Shingen so you will be able to see Nagashino i think.
3. he is of the miyamoto clan and that clan is not ingame


Guys i have been thinking once again what if the campaign is just a couple of maps linked to each other you wont be able to move arround japan but you will be in the Battles that took place between 1572 and 1615. on the other hand i could say i let the AI lords assemble for a massive fight that takes hours lol.

Just a few things to throw out there on samurai / ashigaru equipment and such

All samurai train in the art of the bow, spear, and sword in that order. And should have no preference of those.

So basicly samurai should be multiclassed but idk how thats going to work in warband. I know that the sword would be used over the spear no matter what becaus ethe ai is retarded so i think that ground samurai should have katanna and moutned should have spear. and all have bows and should be ordered to "stop firing or fire at will"

The samurai spears should be short and quick and ashigaru should be basicly like pikes. If samurai get in clsoe in ashigaru ranks it would be a massacre.  Thus ashigaru werent used much until the musket came along lol.

Basicly the idea was to not have every Samurai  warrior ingame.
we want only the Generals every faction will get a general(some factions 2).
However  If there are many ppl saying i want this samurai/person/clan ingame then we will put it ingame.(all to historical base)

Samurai are at the moment multiclassed but they only pick the yari to fight.
currently we have only 1 yari so you maybe know how things go. i also need help with getting the Kengeki mod combined with the Age of the samurai mod.

Not (completely) true. If the spear is set as a lance it will be used (mostly couched I'm afraid) while mounted but once the the wielder get into close melee the ai will switch to the sword.
 
yes i now have the sword as a shield, but its not at the right angle atm, will change that in 5 min.
after that^^ i  only have to make it attack.

i found some oda problems will be fixing them aswell.
