@itsacow:
I'm still deciding to what extent differentiate the female titles. For now, apart from the excellent settings inherited by Diplomacy, the mod is pretty much only for a male player. This is why I haven't yet set a "second pretitle" for females: if I go with supporting both genders, then Mademoiselle would probably be the title for "female knights".
If I don't, I'm going to differentiate by marriage, either by not giving any title to a not-married noblewoman, or by giving her a cultural equivalent of "Miss", "Mademoiselle" etc. Feedback wellcome.
@Radetzky:
A mod necessarily comes with simplifications. For example certain lord's personalities corresponds to what you may call "bandit knights", like raiding villages, caravans, pillaging conquered castles etc.
I might allow a commoner to be re-ranked scumbag in certain cases, or the other way around, but we'll see. The social classes are probably going to be strong "marks" throughout the game. The initial paths instead are just a simplification, they will give you initial characteristics and equipment to get you started in the "way" of playing you like.
If you choose to be a Commoner and then select Engineer, you'll be easily able to become a warrior or merchant or medic in little time. There is a "scholar", is only noble (as it is appropriate, in my opinion) and is called Magister.
The jobs will not be linked to the starting "paths" but to the social class, attributes and skills..so it is pretty flexible, I think.
@Lumo:
Yes, I wasn't thinking about the notifications people get (I've disabled them), my bad. Thanks for reminding me.
About the Vaegirs, truth is I don't know anything about Eastern European/Turkish nobility, which would be appropriate for the Vaegirs. I know a little bit more (anything is more than 0) about ancient arabs though
I will pospone the decision, and probably make a poll.
