Sorry if this is in the wrong section - I created an account just for this reason today so unfortunately it won't let me post images of my problem.
So, I've tried modding Warband in the past and I've given up but I'm determined not to this time.
Currently I tried to do a simple edit with swyter's cartography tool to see if it worked. It didn't.
I have no idea what the problem could be, as everything seemed to go smoothly and it looks okay in the cartographer tool.
I tried putting Uxhal near Veluca, it seemed fine in the cartographer. I saved to map.txt with f5 and save to paries with f9.
Then I ran the module system .bat file so it could do what it has to do. I launch Mount and Blade Warband and my simple edit is not there.
I tried repeating those steps multiple times with no change in the outcome, so I try looking in the modules directory under the game files.
This is difficult to explain without pictures, but stay with me.
Under G:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules there were a list of new .txt files that I assume the module system generated. The modules folder looked something like this:
Either way help is appreciated, and I'll try to get back to any replies as soon as possible, hopefully we can work this out!

I'm not sure why the module system put those files there instead of the actual mod folder that it should go to, and why my mod name comes before each and every text file, such as factions.txtDiplomacy [folder]
Prophesy of Pendor [folder]
My Mod [folder]
my mod nameactions.txt
my mod nameconversation.txt
my mod namedialog_states.txt
my mod namefactions.txt
et cetera, et cetera.
Either way help is appreciated, and I'll try to get back to any replies as soon as possible, hopefully we can work this out!
