B Fantasy [WB] GRIM AGE - Skirmish MOD is CLOSED

In Warhammer, I gues it could be for certain warriors. Also does this perhaps mean certain Chaos factions in the future? I mean currently its Chaos Undivided(?), would be interesting to see future different factions with slight differences.

Well it could be done, that the weapons will go same direction, and sou have double damage. Like I have an axe and shield, damage: 37, then I can have two axes(2handed weapon) and got damage: 74.

For Grim Age, given it's a fantasy mod with Chaos mutated warriors and ELVES!!1! dual-wield would be a really good addition. Thought it would be either a real lot of work, or the effect would be simply bad.

And historically wise, dual wield was never used. Like never ever. Not even in one on one fights. It was used theatrically, to show-off useless "skill". Only usable dual-wield was a dagger used to back-stabb opponents while blocking opponents weapon with a sword or axe.
Practically speaking, same goes for two handed weapons. They were used, but very rarelly, usually by mobs of peasants who couldn't afford anything else then a lumber-axe. Two handed swords were a real rarity, and that's renneisance era when they were used to chop of the hilts of pikes and other pole-arms.
Pretty much extremly useless otherwise.

Duel wield was used. However its use was reserved for duels (See gladiators, renaissance fighting, this Japanese samurai etc.), rather then war. (for obvious reasons)

How about making it a player only feature if it gets in.

Absolutely untrue.

So very far from the truth that it's staggering. A good sword was not a peasant's weapon, and two-handed swords were not "a real rarity". In fact, the longsword (what's called a bastard sword in M&B) was the sidearm of choice for knights for a fair stretch of time. It was extremely fast, very deadly, and useful with a variety of techniques in a variety of melee ranges. A far cry from "extremely useless" outside of chopping the hilts of pikes.

You should really do some research before making a claim like that.

hi everyone, been lurking in this forum for ages, figured i had to sign up and put out a 'This mod looks amazing' post
It certainly is the best looking mod i've come across anywhere, keep up the good work.
Can't wait till its done=)

There is no present tense when it comes to grim age... only the past of "23%" and the future of "it'll be done when it's done"

And just some advice... never, NEVER! ask Furok to even mention anthing even remotely related to the taboo'd word "progress"

On the other hand... Furok if your reading this... make dark elves first when the full SP version is in development. Don't ask why... just obey the Nurgle...

COOL. thats gonna be fun

But I´ve got another question!

Will Demons (like the real big enormous ones crushing millions of tiny little people in the ground) make it in the Mod?

So....

Any kind member could tell me at how much% the mod is at? Sorry I'm too lazy to read 176 pages

P.S : I'm looking forward for the mod. Sounds awesome!
