My question would be "How is the metal ring attached to the wooden shield?" You might want to add some studs or nails on it to show how they are connected. Also, it seems a bit huge.

Hmn...right. Thats the disadvantage if you don´t have an reference, i will add some nails. But only on the second ring of metal, right? The border dont need nails and the part in the middle have already some nails.
The shield is not much larger than a normal north huscral shield, seems perhaps a bit huge with the dwarf in the backround. This one for example is not much smaller:

Another work. Try to make armors how Tokien they would made, without any plates.

Some improvement ideas would be cool.

So again, I really like it. And as I said on the german thread, just add a girdle and it's perfect.
That's the way I imagine a heavily armored dwarf or northerner. Begone with plates

Tolkien never said that someone in Middleearth use plate armors.

As I saw your dwarf in this armour i was wondering what is missing because the armour looks great, and the weapons too.. but i think a dwarf is no real dwarf without a huge beard.
Looking forward to play it.

Have a few problems to get them fly. Have not much scripting experience, would be pretty easy for an experienced Scripter. The problem is to get the ani in the MP working, let me time, have to write a few men a PM.

Exactly. I have absolutely no problem with plate armour in general (quite the contrary), just with plate armour in middle-earth or other settings/times/places were it does not belong (like the depiction of a viking in plate armour or something).
Nothing ironic about it.
