In all likelyhood, no. SW:C is the only mod I'm aware of with working jetpacks, and, whilst impressive, I am not all too fond of how they work. It's more like sprinting.

actually, i heard that the mod 'the Lunar War' has jetpacks

Quite good, or it looks good but since i am not so familiar with the eye of terror i do not know what it is. Would you please care to enlighten me?
Kazzan are you talking about the physical eye of terror or the armor?

What lies inside the eye is unfamiliar to me, the armor could use rounder chest plates.

Nah, it was that blocky. Area around hands looks strange and might need a fix, also trousers needs pockets and possibly to be more bulky. Currently trousers looks too tight imo.

Those armor plates have rounder edges. ^

Ok, fine. My memory failed me.

Thank you for the advice. The chestplates - I don't know. I know it's incorrect, but I prefer the blocky ones. Looks properly imperial, unlike delicate and curvy tau and eldar tech. The pants and the cuffs I'll get around to fixing asap.

Cyber-gladiators! You fight these in the arena. The rigging needs refinement, but I am otherwise satisfied.

Not by much. I plan to make the melees harder and more lethal, and increase the reward. I haven't looked into it much, but getting captured in some respects should have you sent there to fight for the amusement of your captors. I also scrapped persuasion, and replaced it with subterfuge - it'll be used in tournaments, where you can send yourself or a companion skilled in subterfuge to dull your opponents' weapons or kill them or something. Again, not sure with the viability of the scripting, I'm just focusing on art assets right now.

I have read in "Hero's of the Space Marines" that they have Skull harvests where chaos warlord bring their armies to this one planet and duel each other in combat either in down right full assaults with hundreds of men or personal duels of champions or themselves for the reward of the losers army or warband. Losing would mean death of course for the leader or what ever the winner decides. Then usually from these events the victor has amassed such a great army it is almost old legion size strength. The units in the army vary from aliens, to renegade space marines, and traitor guard regiments. I can see this being added into this being a chaos based theme. what do you guys think?

I mean to add all kinds of ritual combats that can tilt the odds of a battle. Having armies at stake may be a bit much - players might just opt to have duels instead of properly duking it out. It should at least come with penalties, in assassins coming after you or hits to relation with a faction and warlords. I'm sure the faction leaders wouldn't be too happy about you emsasculating their armies, endorsed by the Gods or no. I don't imagine CSM working for the player that easily, they would probably join briefly after certain random events, and as mercenaries they would probably cost over 200 ears a week. I don't really see a CSM becoming subordinate to a regular human, at least not with an alterior purpose in mind. Alien mercenaries, sure, I'll try it. I'm not sure what races (beyond some of the less-prominent ones) would be willing. Dark eldar?

Dark Eldar hates chaos...

Where are you getting this? I haven't read any of the books, but I see nothing in the codex that is indicative of this. I imagine they hate everyone, and that a few kabals wouldn't be above working as mercenaries (for a time) in exchange for slaves and souls.

Usually the warrior that would win would be a strong, respected, and a guy with a crusade at hand. In the book they used a Iron Warrior's warsmith as the main character so other CSM wouldn't really have a problem with fighting with him. In the final duel he faces a Khorne Bezerker Warlord and won lots of CSM. have you read any of the Horus heresy series? there are lots of aliens, the interex was a human race that had allied with a alien race called the kinebrach. though they look like humans the interex were a technologically advanced society. with drones with AI that were more efficient than servitors and a way to travel in space without using the warp. there are alien that were allies with the tau but broke off from the empire.

Dark Eldars (they are 'true' eldars in fact) hate chaos the most, as any eldars do. Sure, they created slaanesh. Sure, they behave similar to chaos. But they are forced to collect souls to cheat their death (as she slowly drains their own souls). Not to mention, harlequins fights alongside them and the servants of the laughting god are chaos arch enemies.

There is more, but rule is 'dark eldars hate chaos'.

I've made something similar to that a month ago and I have no intention of using it in my project anymore ... I'll send it to you if you want

Ah. It seems the pointy hats will remain only as adversaries. Does anybody have any suggestions on any other xeno mercenaries, then?
