For some strange reason,when I recruit my troops,they are all naked,most of them carry no weapons (only a dagger),and most of them are classified as "archer",when they clearly should not be in that category.  :grin:
Still,good idea. I would like to see how it develops.

First of all I must say that the mod's concept sounds awesome, and if it will reach the quality of Rigale, it will definitly be one of the best mods arround. But, instead of just unlock new troop types as you research new military technologies, I would prefer to have a customizable troop system for which you unlock items. So you can create your own troops, but only have access to already researched weapons and armors. Found some code for custom troops here: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,53818.msg1389617.html#msg1389617 . I think this would make it feel much more like researching technologies, and not just like unlocking new troops. And you won't have all the work with creating billions of troops :wink: But however you'll do it, this mod will be awesome :grin:
 
WOAH! Awesome idea ^! It would give us feeling of customizing!
I'd LIKE that.

However, that might cast modder far behind where he currently is with modding.
Maybe he will be forced to replace a big part of code. So I'll say.. what ever he decides to do is awesome to me!

EDIT: This would also require him to give us ability to rename troops in game. So that we dont end up with "Archer" troop without a bow o_O
 
Thanks Tilam, this is amazing, exactly what I was looking for. I am not 100% sure about this, but it could be very easy to add a "tech researched" condition to dialogue, and so allow for equipping of troops based on researched techs.

However, The coding of this mod is halted, because I need ideas about settlements specific techs and improvements to build, systems to create and so on.
I am actually looking for managment ideas.

I really want to improve the economical systems of settlement management, please help me with some systems and ideas.
 
Thanks belendor, we will see. I am aiming for a knowledge feature release, and if everythings go well, a custom civ feature.
 
Thanks, glad you like it. V0.10 should really improve a feature that was lacking, that is "knowledge". This and custom civ/settlements should make a good update. i made good coding progress in adding new sttlements, although they are disconnected form the world for now. We shall see. I am waiting for ideas to add more knowledges / settlements features, btw...

Earlier today, I deleted Civ Mod. Not cuz I didn't like it. But because I played it ever since you released it and got somekind tired of it. And now.. I see it merged with Rigale... OHHH WHAT A HAPPY DAYYYY! :grin:

I expanded the knowledge feature a lot. And there are many knowledge fields I didn't touch yet, like medicine, religion, forbidden knowledge (Necromancy, for example...). Even current system could see some more knowledges, like guilds, improved trade, craft... Custom settlements need a lot of love too, because I really added basic systems, and almost no improvements.
