I applied for 2nd round and have not heard anything back, does that mean they rejected my application or that I am queued up?

Hell they could have just charged $10 and I would have paid to play it

They did not want people to pay to play beta. They wanted to control the number of people and give everyone the same chance as everyone else. Thus they did it this way. But it means neither. It means you are in the tester pool. There is no queue or rejection. It is a random lottery from the application pool

It took quite a while for me to get my invitation to the first round tests as well. I think I didn't get my invitation until version .550 came out.
