I must say that Bulgaria was surrounded by Serbians,Romanians and Greeks from all the sides ......................And still Bulgaria DIDN'T lost a battle or a flag.Tell me what Serbia did in this war.

I hate when people start saying well what did these people do... it just angers me so here is what Serbian people did during WW1

``…The Serbian army, coming up from the south of the country, met the Austrian army at the Battle of Cer on 12 August.
The Serbians occupied defensive positions against the Austrians. The first attack came on August 16, between parts of the 21st Austro–Hungarian division and parts of the Serbian Combined division. In harsh night-time fighting, the battle ebbed and flowed, until Stepa Stepanovic rallied the Serbian line. Three days later the Austrians retreated across the Danube, having suffered 21,000 casualties as against 16,000 Serbian. This marked the first major Allied victory of the war. The Austrians had not achieved their main goal of eliminating Serbia, and it became increasingly likely that Germany would have to maintain forces on two fronts…

The Battle of Cer (August 12-24. 1914) was one of the most glorious in the military history of Serbian people. Victory achieved by the Serbian Army in this battle was the first allied victory in the First World War (1914-191:cool:. In the crucial part of the operation, on the Mt. Cer, Austro-Hungarian Fifth Army was defeated and pushed back across River Drina.

The Battle of Drina (September 6. - November 11. 1914) was the most difficult battle waged by the Serbian Army in WWI, particularly battles around middle flow of River Drina, battles of Gucevo and Mackov Kamen. It also stopped the second offensive of Austro-Hungarian Army on Serbia.

The Battle of Kolubara (November 16. - December 15. 1914) and the victory of the Serbian Army contributed to Serbian respect among the allies. In the final phase of the battle, in only 13 days, the Serbian Army managed to expel the enemy from the country and re-establish the fronts on Drina and Sava rivers.

The Battle near Mojkovac (January 6-7. 1916), in which Montenegrin Sandzak Army successfully defended itself against Austro-Hungarin offensive, significantly alleviated the operations of the Serbian Army, enabling it to withdraw its troops trough Montenegro towards Albania.

Albanian Golgotha - Retreat of the Serbian Army (November 1915 - January 1916), also known as "Serbian Golgotha through Albanian gorges" was carried out in the conditions of strong frost, hunger, fatigue, illness and almost every day battles against Bulgarians, Austria-Hungary and Albanians. Some 100,000 soldiers and refugees lost their lives during this legendary march-maneuver of the Serbian Army, which was compared by various historians with Napoleon's and Suvorov’s crossing the Alps.

Thessaloniki front (1916-191:cool: encompasses battles waged by the Entente forces against Central forces on the territory from the Orfan Bay, across Greece and Albania, to the Ionian Sea. In September 1916, the Serbian Army took part in the allied offensive, occupying Kajmakcalan after fierce struggle against Bulgarian forces.

Breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front and allied offensive in autumn 1918, in which the Serbian Army played a crucial role, belong to the most successful operations of the WW I.

Its participation in the WW I Serbia paid with more than million people (some 22% of the population, 58% of male population) and Montenegro lost around 50,000 people (1/8 of the entire population). From 707.000 mobilized men during the war, only less than 130.000 returned home at the end of the war.``

as you can see Serbia did most of its battel with Austria. for if im not mistaken this is how the war started out Austria declaring war on serbia

Serbia was in war from first day, they won few important battles one of them is The Battle of Kolubara (this battle is now in all military books)

wikipedia said:
Austria had taken massive losses and yet failed to conquer or defeat Serbia. The Austro-Hungarian V and VI armies were driven out of Serbian territory, abandoning Belgrade to the Serbs.

After second offensive under new German commander started, Serbia began the retreat and then Bulgaria declare war to Serbia and cut off retreat of Serbs because they were promised Serbian territory. Just because Bulgarians Serbian Army had to retreat trough Albania. Soldiers which survive retreat recovered and they again deployed on Macedonian Front ( Salonika front)... First country which capitulate was Bulgaria.

And i couldn't find 15 battles won by Bulgarians  :???:

There are 14 where there are more bulgarians than allies :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunaru_Charge
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Turtucaia

These are battles where bulgarian soldiers are more than the allied soldiers. I am not including battles like the battle of Bucharest ,because there were more austrians or germans than bulgarians..so,the battles won by Bulgaria are actually more than 15.

The only major defeat of Bulgaria : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Dobro_Pole

Another smaller defeat when Greeks have just entered the war and attack the Bulgarian outpost with a way bigger army including some french troops.

1st country wich capitulates its Bulgaria for the simple reason that their allies were already beaten,it was just a matter of time that they capitulate. And the breaktrough at the Dobro Pole made the Bulgarian tsar capitulate even faster than he had to. When Bulgaria capitulates she is still stable while the German,Austro-Hungarian and the Ottomans Empire were already in a very bad situation.

I can add that before the battle of turtucaia , the austrian general August von Mackensen calls the Bulgarian general Panteley Kiselov and tells him that attacking this fortress is madness and he should not do it,then Panteley Kiselov answers him angry "You forgot who conquered Edirne in 1913 !" and closes the phone.

A few days later Tuturcaia ,the fortress considered to be unconquerable by romanians, russians and the western world, is taken by the Bulgarians.

Btw Edirne was also considered to be unconquerable by the big powers, because the defences were made by german engineers.

This may help on Greece & Romania Faction Flag.

Hope i helped.

Hello everyone, sadly i have to tell you that Brodan left the Team he is busy because of private projects. Now will i lead the Mod team.Sorry for the slow progress but i have to study for my exam this month also..

Can you guys seriously stop with this history nationalism. This should just be for support and Progress. Cause any one can argue with your history... Like it is said history is in the eye of the beholder

I understand what your saying the only thing is that Agovic stated an opinion. And you and started to say your opinion which ended up with an argumental statement "tell me what Serbia did" which allows nationalistic people to get involved.... And then the forum will be filld with a hudge argumment

Agovic wrote something that even doesn't make any sense...I said this thing because I wanted to see from him what makes Serbia's participation in WW1 better than the Bulgarian one

Serbs enlarged their territory by .. at least 5-6 times, even more, from what was their size in 1914 and to what was their size by 1st December 1918 ( proclamation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia <SHS> )

Bulgaria joined up later in 1915, while I think the first work should be done onto those who joined at the beggining.. I'd say Montenegro too, but the Austrians only lost troops and troops trying to storm the Montenegrins with small units, the first big battle happened at Mojkovac, when the Montenegrins, led by my great-grandfather ( my grandma's grandpa ) Janko Vukotić and his aide-de-camp K. Z. Popović destroyed the Austrian 3x larger army....

Yugoslavia wasn't Serbia like the Soviet Union wasn't Russia. So saying they enlarged their territory is nonsense..and it wasn't them. It was the great powers..I mean with what army did "Serbia"enlarge its territory ?!
