IN NEED OF CODERS AND RIGGERS





This is my fantasy themed roman gladiator mod. Been working on this for quite some time...

List of feautures:

DONE:
gore (lots of new blood particles)
better third person camera where you can view your character from afar
new healthbar
cheer animations that give bonuses
more dramatic and beautiful-to-look-at environments
cheers and yells of the crowd
special bots (like giant fatties :lol:)
weapons

WORKING ON:

tigers
new scenes
new models (scene props,weapons,armors etc)
new animations
adding improved and new faces
adding a few new sounds

NOT DONE:

food awards that the crowd throws at you (when you eat food you gain life/health)
new music

The minotaur helmet is not gonna be used it's just a placeholder.

Food awards from the crowd? Shouldn't they be throwing food at us, not rewarding us with it? :smile: Looks epic, though.
 
One of the rare fantasy things i would like to see, very much reminds me of playstation 2 game shadow of rome, which i loved

Yeah its clearly Shadow of Rome inspired. Which isn't a bad thing. In fact its probably the best Colosseum game out there. Had lots of gore and awesomeness.  :razz:

You should include a deathmatch mode without respawning.  :razz:

Also is it possible to make the crowd go weapons perhaps? Like in SOR?
 
Thanks for the positive feedback guys. This is the best I can do without a modeler.
And yes, it's heavily Shadow of Rome inspired.

Currently working on some helmets. Will get back to you with screenshots.

They are modified versions of other peoples work. I can't do stuff from scratch so I ask permission to use other peoples models and change them along with their textures to fit the fantasy rome-themed feel I am trying to achieve.

I'll see what I can do. Such feautures are hard to implement and take time.

Got stuck with the helmets. I am in big need of a modeler. If anyone has time and is interested please pm me.

Btw, I also decided to add chariot races. I believe those won't be too hard to implement.
Still I need a modeler.
