hello every one this is my first mod i hope you like it .
description :  By 1250, the Reconquest of Spain by the Catholic powers had left only the Emirate of Granada, in southern Spain . In 1492 Granada city fell to the "Catholic Monarchs"—Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabel of Castile—and under the terms of capitulation the whole Muslim-majority region came under Christian rule. However, the Muslim inhabitants of the city soon revolted against Christian rule in 1499, followed by the mountain villages: this revolt was suppressed fairly quickly, by 1501. The Muslims under Christian rule (until then known as Mudejares) were then obliged to convert to Christianity, becoming a nominally Catholic population known as Moriscos.Discontent among the new Moriscos led to a second rebellion, led by a Morisco known as Aben Humeya, starting in December 1568 . This violent conflict took place mainly in the mountainous Alpujarra region, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, between Granada city and the Mediterranean coast and is often known as the War of the Alpujarras.
Discontent among the new Moriscos led to a second rebellion, led by a Morisco known as Aben Humeya, starting in December 1568 . This violent conflict took place mainly in the mountainous Alpujarra region, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, between Granada city and the Mediterranean coast and is often known as the War of the Alpujarras.

In 1526, Charles I of Spainissued an Edict under which laws against heresy (e.g. Muslim practices by "New Christians") would be strictly enforced; among other restrictions, it forbade the use of Arabic and the wearing of Moorish dress. The Moriscos managed to get this suspended for forty years by the payment of a large sum Since now all remaining Moors were officially Christian Moriscos, mosques could be destroyed or turned into churches. Their children had to be baptised; marriage had to be performed by a priest. the priests punished Moriscos were who failed to participate in Sunday Mass; Moriscos had to learn—in Latin—the Lord's Prayer, the Ave Maria, the Credo and the Ten Commandments; children had to be baptised and marriage had to be under Christian rites. Inevitably, tension built up.

The archbishop of Granada, convinced that the Moriscos were maintaining their customs and traditions and would never become real Christians, called in 1565 a synod of the bishops of the kingdom of Granada. It was agreed that the policy of persuasion should be replaced by one of repression, and that the measures of 1526 should now be applied. This meant prohibition of all the distinctive Morisco practices: language, clothing, public baths, religious ceremonies, etc. Moreover, in each place where the Moriscos lived at least a dozen “Old Christians” (i.e. not those who had been supposedly converted) should be installed; Morisco houses should be inspected on Fridays, Saturdays and feast-days to ensure that they were not practicing Koranic rites; the heads of household should be closely watched to ensure that they were setting a good example; their sons should be taken to Old Castile at the cost of their parents, to be brought up learning Christian customs and forgetting those of their origins.

Philip II, who had become King in 1556, gave his approval: the result was the Pragmatica of 1 January 1567. The Moriscos tried to negotiate its suspension, as in 1526, but this King was inflexible. The Moriscos had come to the parting of the ways; there was no middle course and they had the naked alternative of submission or rebellion.

As the failure of their appeals became evident, the Moriscos of Granada began to prepare for rebellion, holding secret meetings in the Moorish quarter, the Albaicín. The authorities arrested Moriscos who they thought might be conspiring; they also made plans to expel Moriscos from the Kingdom and replace them by “Old Christians” . After a year of fruitless negotiations, in 1558 the Morisco leaders decided to take up arms.

as you see the quality is very bad so any one know how to make it better or know a better image hosting website ?

It's an interesting concept, but won't the massive difference in size just end in a crushing defeat for the moriscos? And the rebellion occurred mostly within the Kingdom of Granada, which makes adding the whole peninsula a bit weird.

as i mentioned before this is my first mod so i am still learning and i added the whole peninsula because i dont know how to cut them    also in real life the morisco was crushed so it may add some realistic to the mod which i didn't intend to add      and thanks very much for your opinion i will start learning how to cut the rest of the map and this mod will get updates in the future so dont worry about it and i thank you very very much for caring about the mod

Yeah the Alpujarras War is quite interesting, more so because I'm spanish. Both sides were relatively undisciplined, bloodthirsty and loot-hungry, enslaving and commiting veritable massacres at any place they came across. The Moriscos also often employed guerrilla warfare and even received Ottoman help.

yes they used guerrilla warfare because they knew their terrain well but i see that what they did was right because of the torture and injustice from the  inquisition towards them also they received help from the ottomans but it wasn't that much or else they would have reclaimed their lands   and as far as i know moriscos didn't attack innocents but i know they slaved people as the Spanish did and as every one did in that era and correct me if i was wrong at any point

The Spanish Crown certainly made their best efforts to make their relatively new subjects angry; they forbid the local language and customs, forced mass conversion to christianity and tried to impose several vexing practices to root out crypto-islamism. It was a really big **** move considering the monarchs promised to defend their rights and accepted bribes to promote religious tolerance.

The moriscos had in my opinion the right to rise in arms considering the terms of the Surrender of Granada had been broken by the crown, but they (again, in my opinion) lost any kind of moral high ground when they started slaughtering and slaving all christians they found.
That only provoked an escalation of violence and castillian forces one-upped that brutality, going so far as to start fires in the entrance of caves to slaughter every last muslim soldier, child or woman they found in their path while the monarchy renounced to their royal fifth (a kind of loot tax) to encourage the army.

About Ottoman help, I'm not sure if it would be considered a lot but almost a 1/5th of all rebel forces were north african or turkish. If christians were already skeptical of religious tolerance, morisco collusion with enemies of their state finally made the crown paranoid enough to kick them out to the dismay of the catholic world.

Yeah I've been trying it. The musketeer units are cool, although I seem to be able to upgrade my crossbowmen to an invisible unit that causes crashes. Also I find it weird that Navarra and Aragon are separate from Spain; I mean technically they were separate kingdoms, but formed part of the same crown and did not conquer each other like Warband's factions did.

Some other nitpicks: Generally speaking in this era most ranged units were actually arquebusiers who carried a relatively light firearm called arquebus and most of them did not carry armour (with some exception among richer/older soldiers), so they looked quite like this:

Musketeers did exist but they were a minority in 16th century armies and, since muskets were heavier and longer they required a sort of forked stand to shoot. Thus, they looked like this:

All this is, of course, on the Spanish side. I do not have much knowledge of what kind of equipment would the moriscos have carried.

thanks for your feedback i will fix it and post a patch very soon but from 1 to 10 what do you rate this mod ?

Well it's a bit too early to rate a mod in construction isn't it? What I can say so far is that it's an interesting setting and that you seem very committed to the project.
