The Ironborn have CPR down well so being drowned is not that dangerous. Being drowned then ressuscitated is not nearly as dangerous as going on raids.

On a related note, how would you guys like ASOIAF to end? I want Dany to die, Jon to become the King in the North, and Victarion to become the King of the Iron Islands. I would like Westeros to become several independent states again, and the Ironborn to be a major power. But I don't think any of those are going to happen, based on GRRM's writing style.

He has a way of disappointing you but that just makes me love the series more. It's unpredictable. I mean when I first started, I totally believed it was going to be a cheesy tale of how Robb gathered his banners, fought heroically, and established the independence of the North. The end. But it's just full of twists that make the series incredibly more interesting.

Umm how was I spoiling anything!?  I simply stated names?  Nothing that happens, no storyline, no nothing.  Just the mentioned the names of my favorite characters and who should, in my opinion, own the iron throne.
