Yes but it will work only for town which are near. For exemple it will not work with Bordeaux and Paris or Dublin and London

Brilliant idea, would make an interesting siege anyway, have different lines of defence to fall back to. You have the main guards to hold off the attackers with upturned carts and such and then fall back to the city walls. I say go for it!

Actually I think he's right, the First Industrial Revolution was from around 1760-1820/40, however the Second Industrial Revolution began around 1860.
