Also just wondering after seeing some of his models posted, but is the team in contact with Thick1988 at all for using more assets? I tried out Swadian Interregnum a bit ago and was surprised to find it having some of the most period-accurate armor I've ever seen in a warband mod. Especially with his arming cottes/jupons.

No, I've never heard of the mod. Thanks for the heads-up though  Seek N Destroy is currently in vacation, and he is the one in charge of assets / troop designs.

Wow that sounds like an amazing project Khamukkamu! Good luck with that and I will definitely give it a try as soon as the full version gets released.
May I ask who made the woman in the first screenshot? That girl looks beautiful. I've never seen that face texture in any other mod.

Thank you folks for the textures and scabbards, just added Antonis' diffuse as a variant for the Albion swords and Tonkin's scabbards (made scabbards for the remaining swords) also merged part of Leonion's retexture of weapons2.dds with the current one in the mod (from Antonis as well I believe) so we have better looking scabbard textures

I think it's from this pack: Female face model and textures replacer

I don't think the mod is OSP and Thick hasn't been active in a while

Does the beta do something to the AI marshals? I've been playing a rather infuriating French campaign where I'm the only person that has a freaking brain, and France isn't even defending anything. I keep taking the northern settlements back by myself. It's doing wonders for my Renown but absolutely nothing in the way of long term stability. And I'm only able to keep up with obscene attrition due to conscription naive rebels.

I kind of wish the Warband modding community had a similar process as Bethesda games modding community does, where if a modder isn't active in a significant amount of time, the modder allows their work to be made open for public use.

Well, theoretically speaking, all modding is under fair use. As long as the stuff are not used  for making money, they are products by the people for the people made in one's spare time to be used in another's spare time hobby. Goods freely distributed cannot force restrictions on their use, as long as the receiver does not profit out of them, of course. Still, there's the morality thing, where we feel compelled to let a project die just because someone got bored/had a real life gig and abandoned his work. It's sad and a bit silly, not to allow people to have a good time and make sth others might enjoy, just because you can. In all projects I've seen passing from the original creator to another, there was always respect for the original work, caring and understanding. The projects were only benefited from the change, instead of suffering the slow death of oblivion(this mod is a grand example).

That's why I like people like FantasyWarrior, SnD, Khamu, fladin, Redleg, the Brytewalda team, Swyter, Caba, the Last Days team and the list goes ever on. For me, they understand what modding a good game is all about.

Can't agree more. Just imagine the the possibility of modding if we keep less and share more. To be honest, after 8 years, the number of OSPs for M&B modding are not enough compare to the game's potential, so many mods out there died young because of limited resource. At this point, I'm affaird just thinking of asking people for permission to use their resource for persional projects.

I have messaged Thick quite a while in Nexus regarding whether the mod is open source or not (I don't plan to mod though, just help other modders that have similar period like this and Calradia 14-- (forgot the name)

He is last active there at 7 July, and the lucky me messaged him that day too but at a different hour
And I felt quite rude asking him as I don't even know him or even talked yet.

I have nearly finish the banners (world cup victory morale boost or something like that ), but it will take a little bit to implement in game with the help of SnD. This was the first test of historical banners for historical lords, it was big ressearch work and many hours in Gimp, and i couldn't make it without this wonderfull site http://wappenwiki.org/index.php/Main_Page

Can't wait to see heraldic armors with these banners

Can the download available somewhere in the thread get added to the OP?
Is the current version suitable for a complete playthrough?

Even if this version is playable i think you should wait the next version it will be more complete, with better armors, better civilian clothes, historical banners and freelancer with all new missions working. Don't know when it can gets out.

It's worth it for the banners alone

Over a hundred historical banners made by Ettenrocal are now included in the mod, a nice boost to immersion in my opinion. Now after some time you can differentiate lords on the world map (or at least the family they belong to) at a glance. Good luck picking a banner for yourself though, there's so many interesting ones
