Ways of becoming a king

The devs have talk about this?
I did a quick search i found nothing about, so...
I just think it would be cool that if the player is married to a princess / prince, then when the king dies, the player would become the rightful ruler. And in factions like de Western Empire and the Northen Empire, the player can be choosed as the next ruler when the current one die.

a devblog hints that we will be able to usurp power in a kingdom/empire or start our own! I can't post links because my account is new but if you google Kingdom Management Bannerlord you will find it!

Probably this link...

Eventually, you will have the option of branching out and establishing your own kingdom, or, as is the case with Bannerlord, if you have taken a liking to your current one, you can subvert it and seize power for yourself!

No way to become King with loyalty? In warband the king's sons and daughters are closed in some cellar, this time they will be in game, High relations means marriage so your heirs can become Kings.

The Clans tab shows detailed information about every clan that is a member of the faction. This information includes the clan name, banner, influence, members and fiefs. In this screen, you can lend your support for one of the clans to become the leader of the faction or initiate a vote to have a clan expelled from the kingdom.

King = clan leader of the clan voted/supported to lead the faction.

Seems a great solution. Gameplay Wide we have problems only with subfaction...you can't join them for some reason. It would be great ti join and take over major factions with elections. Subfaction are One clan only? That would explain why you can't join them currently.

Also, I believe subfactions don't hold fiefs but have hideouts. So they don't compete with the major factions for territory and are outside the feudal ambitions the player is likely to pursue.

Since I haven't seen other colors than major factions in map I suspect it works this way. I wonder how they get recruits: all villages have a garrison/castle attached so recruiting from hostile factions it is more difficult now and most subfactions start at war with major factions.
