Waypoints on the world map

What about adding waypoints on the world map to help travel? This would help reduce the "run in place" phenomenon you get when you hit a mountain. Some sort of shift-click could set it up.

I support this suggestion. Good idea, and as far as i know, orginal.

Same here, I think waypoints are needed, roads ARE gonig to be added in, maybe you can right click on them and you will follow the road to the next town/junction... or something like that, maybe some preset waypoints you can use if you want but you can also set your own waypoints.
