interesting though the quality of that work should be better.  I want this to look authentic.

i have always been skeptical that this type of mod would work, but with the new pistol animation, and the obvious skill of the modelling, i have new faith in this. if this mod flies, i think it will be great.

Thanks, Im a pretty good animator, and with the pistol anim as a reference (and when we actually can make new anims) we can make good ones.

Sweet! I watched this thing on the military channel about waterloo. The french I think had hid down in the grass on the hill, and then when napolean's men came up it. They stood up and took em all by suprise. Hehe, very nice work on the textures and stuff!

with the hats, you may like to model hair in, in various colours, it just looks wierd everyone being bald.

I actually thought about that, i was going to put in every hair model there is and the hat it chooses is baesd on the hair of their character.  Though that is going to be later scripting things for visualization.  not something i paln on doing immidaitly.
