The year is 1815, June 18th and Napoleon has reclaimed his crown in France and once again is the supreme ruler of the French.  The Brittish, and Prussians have formed an alliance against the once glorious emperor and now stand to defeat him at the fields near waterloo.  The continent being at stake both sides will surely fight to the death.

I wish to create this world in Mount and Blade.  I see it as the perfect game to mod to make the most immense Napoleonic experience.  I have a lot of ideas but most of which I do not wish to disclose at this time.

About me, I have a lot of experience in modeling and skinning, and alot of experience in modding.  However I have little to no experience in modding m&b.  I have had m&b for over a year now but I have never modded it, i have rarely played mods at all being so addicted to the original game itself.  I am looking for people who are very familiar with this game's modding systems and those would be willing to work on an ambitious project.  I have screenshot of some work I have so far:

thank you, also I would like to add if there are modders out there that do not necesarily want to join the team but want to show me the ropes of modding that would be greatly appreciated too!  you can contact me on msn or PM me here.  I read over the tutorials and I must say I think it left me more confused.  This game is very different than modding games im used to.  Most of the skins are even in one file ><

at the sqare of waterloo you mean? that's in the Netherlands in Amsterdam.... ( don't know much about that history but I do know that the waterloo square is in Amsterdam.

Im not sure what youa re talking about Assyrian.  I am talking about the battle of waterloo where napoleon and duke of wellington met in a very long battle.

Perhaps the British push through Spain would more more appropriate? Waterloo was a set piece battle, not over a period of time.

Sharpe's Adventures would fit the gamplay of M&B prefectly as they are full of small scale ambushes and engagements.
You can run your own Greenjackets detachment searching Spanish countryside for French parties.

Well I believe you guys may have misunderstood.  The mod is not centered around one battle.  however that is the ultimate result.  You start out right after the french revolution.  You choose a character you wish to be, Wellington, Bluchard or Napoleon (leaders of each sides), then you go through as a young officer and work your way up to waterloo.  Instead of one set event, its more a destination event.

Then you have to add  Russian and Austrian factions. Waterloo wouldn't have happened without disasterous  Russian campaign.
And Austria was main enemy of the France right after the Revolution.

uniform references would be good, well I was planning on putting austria, spain, and russia in as factions but not playable factions.

There is also a Napoleonic mod that was being worked on a while back. Not sure what the status is on it, but you might be able to work together if you wanted.
