Watch a 2015 Bannerlord 2 promotional video ...

It seems like they are going into the opposite direction now, which is a shame. I get that talking to NPCs from the campaign map makes things faster, but if there is no reason to visit towns they are a wasted opportunity. Let's hope I am wrong.
You know, I as a more RPG player I'm not against these changes, if I want to feel immersed I walk and talk instead of choosing the fast menu interaction, the problem is that towns do not offer anything outside these menus, there should be way more to do, more people to talk to, random encounters

Agreed, that's my opinion as well.

They have come a long way from 2015, who knows what new inventions in the world of gaming will this title bring.

I'd like that each menu option wasn't available as a quickchoice until you've talked at least once to the relevant NPC.

It's not exactly the voice acting, I like it, but I'll probably move on next time, it's mainly the character's engine, it's five years old, but the characters seem realistic, I don't like the actual cartonish look, often I found two heroes with the same look, and with five years to refine that engine , it could be incredible.

Another 5 year old video, and you will tell that sieges and smiths are much better now....
