One of the bugs found is the missing elven bow string with no animation
here's the the new bow with animation
also I'm going to upgrade the unicorn model and texture

I need someone who wants to test the elves (high) and dark aswell as the lizardmen

I'm willing to test. I just need to talk to my parents about getting my computer fixed. If you can wait a little bit, I'm a VERY thorough tester. Del can vouch for that. I tested the Warband version of Warsword.

best hurry where in the final stages of testing a working platform, the ogres and specific faction farmers are now in, but your welcome to test when you've smooth it over with your parents :grin:
I will take this opportunity to recommend the platform where using
The version of Mount and Blade is the enhanced 1.011
also the patch that allows you to use 4GB of ram.
the module has been tested using both win 7 64 and 32 bit, and XP, both ATI and Nvida cards, high end PC to lap top.

I just realized a problem. I lent my disc for the original M&B to a girlfriend who then broke up with me and I never got it back.

Gonna have to talk to her. : P

I am using this version, is the 4GB patch included in it? You1's post implies it is separate.

Hi mate
the 4Gb patch , can be used for MB exe file if you've got the ram, I use it in all games I have an issue with, TBH I just use it all the time, its simple and works
I'm just about ready for the final patch to be tested, to give the testers achance to find anything I'll give them a week or so and then I'll release,
Its a month late ,but as 1 tester said, "Its EPIC"
The Ogre character is back in,also the specific faction farmer parties, village defenders and high elves buildings for their villages

The testers have had a good go at it, I'm not able at the moment to do anymore bug fixing for a week or so.
This link is for the test release version: pass word vista
There is still some map bugs where the lords are getting stuck, mainly around the fords
I would  recommend installing the 1.011 enhanced version, link is on download page
since all the testing has been with this version, I can not help anyone who doesn't follow the recommendations

I've had some PM asking this, the reason I've done this is

I'm away for 2 weeks, this release was the next version, I'm constantly adding new things, so this isn't the end.
I'm still trying to improve the kingdom management, but warsword is not like other mods, you start with 12 kingdoms that's the easy bit, its when you become a kingdom yourself, the player has a choice of 12 factions, For someone who only uses code once in a full moon its been tricky :lol:
the testers found some map bugs only which only affects the play slightly,
and Yes the data folder needs swapping,
A number of villages and towns have the incorrect scene, IE have snow and shouldn't and the otherway round, these have being fixed
The testers have being great in their feed back,but its difficult too test everything, another reason to release this version, since the public are the best testers,

Q/what are the ogre kingdom armies troop tree  (cav, ranged etc...)
A/There's no ogre kingdom. The Ogres rule the mercenary kingdom, if you wish to play as a ogre, you must choose all the ogre steps in the character creation menus.
Because it was asked for the ogre is in to play, it has very limited weapons and armour, all the ogre troops which there are 4 can use most ranged weapons but it looks "."?, I've made available large rocks, similar to the stones for their use.
part of this release you could say is a test for the ogre, if players want to play as the ogre it will stay, if I get bad or poor feed back it will be removed as a playable character until such time the model is improved, also more weapons and armour are made available.

I'll probably start with an empire character, then I'll see what other factions appeal
Though of course I will try out the ogres as well
 
Loving the work done on the mod, however it seems to give runtime error after every single battle.. I was basically limited to tournaments only  :???: I was using Mount&Blade Enanched. I'll try with the basic version and let you know whether it runs smoothly or not. Great work, nevertheless! :smile:

EDIT: Nope, stipp crashing.. Not sure of the cause, happened with Norse parties, freeing a village from Goblins and with Skeletons

Sorry to hear this, Have you checked the rgl_log.txt file, Some of the testers went well pass 1258 aug with no errors, Have you used the ram patch,the patch reduces the buffer issues also some of the models for the skeletons are over 2500 faces,
Just 1 thing: have you swapped the data folders over, since you've mentioned the goblins, this is a well know issue,
The warsword data folder is with the files,
good job the data is handled better in warband.
Some PM have asked for a mount for the Ogres, goblins etc, I'm looking in the parts bin and have come up with a very interseting mount, still fine tuneing the textures ,but looks good,
 
I remembered about the data from previous versions. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the issue :sad: Thanks for the answer, though. Runtime error is basically a window popping up and crashing the game right to desktop so not even a chance for a save right after battle :neutral:
Really a great mod, though, I might actually end up playing it for the tournaments only  :lol:
Oh and Goblins might use wolves mounts :wink:
