warsword crashing

My warsword is sometimes crashing. The message I get is: "there is no disk in the drive". I bought Mount & Blade on steam so I have no disk. I thought I might of installed the mod wrong, so I reinstalled the mod but this did not help. I also reinstalled Mount & Blade in addition to the mod but I still have this problem. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
