SP Fantasy Warsword Conquest - New Opening Post

Its pretty crazy the amount of content you guys have churned out in such a short time, and here i was thinking you were being too ambitious.

Bears?...Mounts? BEAR MOUNTS?! Squee!

Can't wait to see what the next update will contain! (I hope Tomb Kings eventually get a Sphinx mount.)

Amazing work so far best mod ive played since 1776 1860 1755 and blood in the west mods is there going to be magic, artillery, eagles, or dragons in any future updates and what about a wood elves faction cause isn't that the only faction left to do by any chance?

Hello. I mainly lurk, but I've always seen this mod looking active and have a question. Is there an update for this game buried somewhere? I've seen a lot of progress, but the downloads I can find are all more than a year old.

I am not sure if other players see this as an issue - but AI is very weak with refilling the castles with garrisons. Basically, once conquered, the town becomes a sitting duck welcoming every following invasions. Most wars between factions is like capturing and re-cupturing the same castles because garrisons vary between 30-80 troops.

Is there anything to do with that. I know that in Prophesy of Pendor for example, the garrison regeneration ratio is much faster.

Part of this is probably that garrisons don't fill when the castle/town is not yet assigned to a lord, which can take a while to happen.  If you change it so that they do it might help your problem.

Find this bit in simple_triggers.txt:

In theory you could change 105 to 104 and delete 561 3 1224979098644774920 7 1 .  I've not tested this though.

I will look into it, thanks merikallio

Does anyone have a fix for the global baldness of women with the Shishman Submod?

EDIT: Nevermind. I've read around and it seems it was built on a previous version. Anyone knows where I can get the submod/ patch that Birger Jarl made? The link to Sendspace is obsolete as the file has been removed.

Sounds like you need to do the bugfix. Open up simple triggers.txt and find the number 384 at the start of the line and change it to 24. That should do it.
Nothing happened

I think you have to start a new game or wait for truces to expire the first time, then it should all go back to normal

No, in my case at least after just a few days the truces were having their time reduced at the normal rate. Of course it's not going to "magically" fix itself (by this I mean, suddenly bring the truces down to the duration they should have by now), you need to wait for some time to pass in-game. But after a few in-game days, the difference is very noticeable.
