warp speed

I recently started getting this bug where everything seems to be going twice as fast as normal.  I think map travel is faster, but I KNOW everything in battles is very fast.  I just got a new computer but it was happening on my old one as well so I don't see how it could be a hardware issue.  I have used the tweakmb program but I just installed a clean version of the game and the bug still happens.  Is anyone else getting this?

I posted this in the wrong forum, my problem is in warband.

Have you tried decreasing maximum fps in the launcher-settings?

I just lowered it from 120 to 60 but no change.  Its like watching a video on fast forward.

Press escape and choose options, then underneath the damage difficulty setting there is a option about speed. Set it to something lower and try that.

Tried that many times, nothing seems to help and the problem, while intermitant, is quite common in my game.  Arena fights at double speed can be quite the challenge!
