Dude, I F***ing love you, I have been dreaming about M&B combined with Warhammer Fantasy! If you use Blender( that's a type of modeling program) then i can model for you. so PM me. I'm kickass with moddeling swords but suck ass when texturing.

I could have sworn that ive posted here before, put i like it that youve revived it luigi what kind of setting will you use?

and btw is duke and merc dead`?

the lore of fantesy is actually quite a bit changed from the olden days(wohoo lasguns).  High Elves and Dwarves are natives that were tutored by the Old Ones.  the Lizardmen are their creations.  I don't know much about orc history.  Humans didn't show up in lore until Nehkarra formed(so we don't know where they came from, probably native).  Ogres are native.  Skaven are a divergent beastmen group that worship nurgle(aka the horned rat).  And all gods(barring Gork and Mork perhaps) are from the stuff of chaos.  Dark Elves are the elves that followed Malekith's bid for power.  Chaos dwarves are the Dwarves that got caught in the first expansion of chaos and were corrupted.  Vampires are the result of Naggash's first bid for immortality.  Tomb Kings are the result of Naggash casting a spell to kill everyone in his country.  Naggash is sitting on a mountain twidling his thumbs at the moment.  Chaos is the result of the great northern gate in the north collapsing and unleashing massive corruptive energies(I theorize that Ogres Orcs and Humans evolved after this event.  Or were created as a result.  I doubt they would of escaped the corruptiuon otherwise.  The Dragon-ogres didn't.)

I know this is a fantasy mod not historical. I also noticed that Imperial clothing and armour appears to be based on clothing from the real-world Holy Roman Empire at the the time of the emperors Maximillian I and Charles V, i.e. circa 1486-1519 and 1519-1556. BTW the Holy Roman Empire was a purely German empire with absolutely nothing to do with the Ancient Roman Empire, it wasn't particulary holy either.

I have some pictures of arms and armour from this period (non German unfortunately) which i thought you might be interested in, not, I hasten to add, in the interests of historical accuracy, but rather as a source of information and inspiration:

One other thing I was curious about, primitive firearms like handguns and arquebuses were widely used in early 16th century Europe, are they used in Warhammer as well?

Well i don't really understand the warhammer universe. I do know that it will be interesting. Good luck
