ok i ve just watched the warband  presentation  and  here is a very crude
suggestion for warband that i dident see there (being able to live in a castle full time with other non npc  players to protect it)
and this is kind of like runescape  being able to forge your own weapons and i think being able to go into a forest and cut down trees to drag to
your town to use would be very nice !! but like  i said this is a crude suggestion and im pretty sure that these things would be hard to integrate
into the game

HOW DARE YOU!

That thing is horrible even in the circles of MMOs .

I wouldn't mind any of that, but I think the posters above are correct, it would not fit well into mount and blade

RUNESCAPE!!!!! (Facepalm*) IDIOT! Warband is an online experience!! not an MMO! No wonder why so many people make up rubbish references and terrible ideas!
AURRRRRRGHHHGHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGG#$#$JKL

That depends... what kind of weapons could I forge.

Perhaps the legendary Sword-chucks?

No offence but it's people like you that ruin games.

I know this is unfair, harsh and uncalled for but the same thing happened to gears of war.

People came and said "YEAHHH MORE CHAINSAW I LOVES TEHH BLUDDS".

So they made chainsaws overpowered and they introduced the gimickey chainsaw-duels.

Other people said "I HATE GETTING RUSHED NUBZ USED TEH SHOTGUNS AND WALL BOUNCE"

So they made the shotguns slow and ineffective along with making movement lethargic. This, basically, destroyed all that was good and unique about gears of war.

We are blessed to have developers that take an active interest in the commnity and listen to our suggestions

So, please, think about what you post and the suggestions you make.

Do you really think the introduction of player weapon creation would benefit the game?

If so, give a valid reason and explanation as to why you think so.

Sorry to pick on you, your post just happened to spark this.

I'm sorry you didn't get the 8bit theater reference.

Its ok though, your ability to reference web comic jokes do not dictate your ability to play mount and blade or be productive in life in general.

You might want to get your serious button checked though, it seems to be jammed to ON.

I mean seriously. He mentioned Runescape. I figured that meant "jokes are fair game at this point."

Yeah, I'm in kind of a strange mood. Ignore it. (actually don't. I stand by everything I said. But you know what I mean)

I'm not always serious, though.

Welcome to the forums.

I figured as much, that is why I didn't cleave your bloody skull for whining about a console shooter.

You only get one though.

Gears of war is my favourite game of all time and a masterful creation. Gears of war 2 is dog turd.

My comments were also directed at the OP, btw.

Repetetive tasks such as treecutting in m&b would be the most pointless, unsatisfying things they could add.

I can sort of understand it in an MMORPG (not my cup of tea, though) but to put it in a single player game is incomprehensible.

Talking further about my rant:

It's not that relevant to these forums/taleworlds.

I didn't really express my faith in Taleworlds as a developer not to add features such as these. I have alot of respect for them and the game they have created. To talk about them as if they would be so easily influenced by bullcrap is disrespectful.

They are not Epic Games.

If you were talking about me, I should notify you that I am an EXTREMELY sarcastic person,

So you think you can go cut down a random tree, drag it (the whole thing) back to some castle which you probably built out of stones you "mined" from a bottomless pit of generic castle-making stone #37, and then you'll carve the entire tree into one bow that isn't as good as you could buy from a weaponsmith?

Yeah, let's tack some more Runescape on to this sucker to get the crucial pre-pubescent wanker fanbase.

We all know how much purchasing power their mothers they have.
