Welcome to Warband: Total Realism, the Sister Mod to WTR; 1148 AD.
This is a mod for Warband, which aims to realistically simulate Medieval-Era combat,  more so than combat in native.

I'm not that talented of a modder, so I rely a lot on OSP packs, which are the lifeblood of this mod.
Although, I now have and awesome team, which will lead to some awesome results.

Right now, I'm planning on utilizing these mods:
Movie Warband View (CHUR)
More Horses (Wanderer949)
Combat Animation Enhancement (Papa Lazarou)
Havocified Bows (Havoc)
Polished Buildings (Gutekfiutek)
SoundRounding (Aeon)
Blood Enhancement (Niel_V)

Features:
Re-Done Native Maps
New, rebalanced Classes for Multiplayer Factions
Better Graphics (Does not lower FPS)
New Animations
New Sounds
Tweaks:
Rebalanced Soak and Reduction factors for armor
Rebalanced Weapons, removal of non-realistic ones (GLA, War Cleaver)
Bows/Xbows are much slower, but do more damage
Horse Charge now does more damage
Missile Damage Now Scales with Range (IE: Point Blank shots will do more damage than far off)

On the topic of cavalry, it will be very OP, as it should.
But, a cheap horse will cost about 2000 denars, and in multiplayer, you start with zero monies. (This may be changed to 100 or so, maybe.)

Oh, this is a multiplayer mod?

E: Ohh, [M]. Gotcha.

Though money brings up its own problems... You need to kill things with horrible weaponry to get the awesome weaponry, then you're fighting people with horrible weaponry so that they can't get the awesome weaponry.
It's just a downward spiral of one guy getting an awesome item and dominating because of it.
 
I hear you, although the weaponry you get in the beginning is far from horrible, you will also be able to use teamwork to beat those big tanks.
Also, there's a rock-paper-scissors effect, where something used en masse will be able to counter something else, so you will have to have a balance.

An example would be that, as a Nord, you wont be able to get a 2h axe, and a good shield, only one of the two. You could get a nice axe and a crappy shield, or vice versa.
A crappy axe will be vulnerable in melee, and a crappy shield will be easily destroyed by archers.

I may get some screenshots once I get back from my trip on new years.
 
Just to let everyone know, i'm now semi-on this mod team. I'm making a few scene props etc... for it, and maybe some new Custom Build items (Like a jigsaw... but with buildings =P) for it, when I have the time.
 
Haha i'll do my best, anyways. Currently working on a small wall, type you'd find bordering a field or something, along with variations of it.
 
The correct way to say it is:
"You got there hulk"

Also, I now have two modelers, just need a good coder, and I'm set.
Also trailer/banner makers.

When I get navy of holiday, we can really start work, and hopefully get a.possible alpha release.
