With bannerlord most likely coming out later this year, i decided to make this post about many things with bannerlord.
The first thing i have chosen to discuss is what will happen to the warband clans and tournaments, furthermore the players, as many have 4000 plus hours so will they leave or will they carry on to reign as champions on Bannerlord, there will be a huge influx of new players to the multiplayer scene, this would probably lead to more tournaments like Ecs+Ecl where the lesser teams will play in the lower tournament. But another question i have is would Taleworlds host there own tournaments, i think that the multiplayer scene could be bolstered if they did something like CS:GO where the tournaments were shown at the main menu.
Another point is would bannerlord become a eSports, Lust and many players have tried to do this with warband such as the sponsorship from Razer on ECS2, if the idea i put forward earlier with the main menu would prove to help the eSports, for this to happen Single player players would need to be enticed to multiplayer or atleast show some interest even if it is just watching it, streams right now get 100 watchers at most when bannerlord comes lets say 100 thousand plus buy it they see at the main menu the stream, they watch and enjoy it want to be as good as them {Me of course
} that is 50 thousand people watching the stream, this goes up on twitch more people watch as it is populated and the sponsors come in.
The only reason warband has failed to become a fully established eSports is because of the small community.
