Well let's face the fact that Russia had a better space program in the '50s than Mexico does now. So Canada! Blame them for the Lunar War!

I'd havo to say India, since they are coming to an impressive progress. In my oppinion, they have the most potential to become one of such forces.

And for factions, I voted India. As a Canadian, I'd like a Canada faction but really, we will never be a superpower. Hopefully the American's would let us tag along when they go to the moon.  Or maybe the American faction could be a North American Union or something like that.

Well, it seems that Canada was the winner. India will surely be voted in future polls, but anything could have happened in 2 centuries that would have made Canada a major power. Becoming a republic after UK became part of the EU nation, buying Alaska from USA and becoming an oil superpower, etc.

Now i'll have to find a good name and flag for them...

Voted Brazil on the grounds that India will probably have more problems with overpopulation and religious violence that might impede it's becoming a superpower.  But I'll concede that's just a guess.

If an eighth faction is added after Brazil, I'll vote India.

Israel should probaly be up considering they are one of the few countries with enough of a Hi-Tech industry and the connections to get something up in space. Then again you could just have them be a sub-set of the US.

As an explanation as to how Canada rose to be a super-power, it could have been a massive enhancement in Canadian robotics with the result of having the majority of Canadian units being robots.

Or, as Canada currently has a small population but more land and resources than most countries on the earth, within the two-hundred years, massive flocks of people immigrated to Canada.

Or perhaps the Canadian and American factions could be merged, as it seems unlikely that those countries will become rivals at any point in time.

Consider all the natural resources Canada has.  If the future features massive resource shortages, we might be in a pretty good place.

how about when youre walking around villages/citys/castles (if thats what theyre gonna be called) that theres a big bubble dome thing around you so it looks like those give the inhabitents air, and the climate to raise food. That way instead of just having crops on the bare surface of the moon its more beleivable.

The bubbles are a good idea, just that they won't be pink. 
And Slovakia and the Scandinavian faction are part of the EU, except for Norway, which i don't see becoming a major power.
