Warband Script Enhancer 2 (v1.1.2.9)

Users who are viewing this thread

Hey, hope you can help me with this, I played gekokujo - daimyo edition for a few hours, then saved the game and quit. So next day i come back launch it up and notice that the graphics are reset and fov combat settings, almost everything differed from my past settings.

I change them back to the previous ones, and run my save, first thing i notice is that food gives 0 morale, my skill points all reset to 0 and i can't level up my skills even though i have skill points left(there is no plus button), my character has no hair and looks deformed, all my party members have their skills set to 0 and some other ****. IDK what happened so i just quit the mod.

So yesterday i decide to play perisno, i play it for a few hours, save the game and turn off my pc. Today i launched the game again only for the same **** to happen again in perisno. Here are the logs and save files, hope you can fix this.
I don't think this is WSE2 problem. It looks like your settings and save files are getting corrupted. Check your disk for errors.

I don't think it's a disk error as everything else is fine and runs good but i should check it for errors just in case. I did find some old threads about people having this exact issue on warband without WSE2 here. I unfortunately can't restore the backup save since it got corrupted too. This is an issue within the game itself as other people on the post i linked had the same problem, btw does warband store any type of data in the windows TEMP folders?

Save and settings files are stored in documents
Yes Ik, just wanted to know if any data is stored in temp folders. I'm just gonna have to start from scratch i guess since there's no fix available, please if you find something off in the code that may be related to saves getting corrupted, try to fix it (y)

Hello! I have an issue that I'm not sure how to fix. I've acquired my own payment method recently so I would be able to commission immediately if needed. The issue in question is that I'm using custom attack animations instead of the native ones. Their hit collision is very unreliable but I do not understand why. Some hit more often than others.

Here is the link to a video file that shows the problem:

unfortunately, WeTransfer is blocked for me

Hello everyone. Wse2 is a very useful find for the warband. There are a lot of cool and subtle, useful settings. But I can't understand why the render_buffer_size parameter is missing? Is it possible to add this?

WSE2 render is optimized and does not require manual adjustment

Hello. I installed your program on the Steam version of the game, and now I noticed that many mods require a terribly strong reduction in graphics due to “lack of memory”. I consider this a mistake, because: previously these same mods were loaded at the highest settings, and I also have a good computer (AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor with Radeon Graphics 3.90 GHz
RAM 16.0 GB (available: 15.8 GB).

Hi K700,
I got a warning when using wse2. "warning: ground paint is smaller than terrian for site random_scene_plain", how can I fix this ? Thanks!

You can ignore this warning, it just shows that the paint and terrain sizes do not match each other.
Yes, I know this warning does not affect the game, but this red log can cause some confusion for players. Then they will come to the mod developers and ask if it's a bug in the program( We have encountered this situation for a lot of times  ). There is also a sea shader warning when loading the game. Is there any way to avoid displaying these two warnings when we develop mods? Or can you remove these two warnings or set these two warning logs in white color instead of red in the new version of WSE2 since they have no actual impact?
Thanks!

Warnings displayed only if edit mode enabled. Players don't need to enable it.

I'd like to ask about an issue I've discovered in playing WSE2 on The Last Days Of The Third Age. Basically, on locations such as Helms Deep, there is a small layer that is barely perceptible on the base game on the gates leading into the hall. However, on WSE2, the outside of the layer is black while the inside is bright white or a dull pink. The same issue appears on Dol Guldur.
