warband on a bootcamped macbook pro. works AMAZINGLY

Hey everybody, i just installed warband on the windows side of my macbook pro, and i've just got to say..... i almost soiled myself. 400 man battles? no problem. full smoke on musket mods? not a frame slow. 100% texture? no problem. Directx 9? please. its awesome. Just thought i'd let everybody know.

Have you tried it in multi-player to see how well it works on there?

If the CPU can handle the game, then all that Multi requires is a good internet connection.

yeah it works fine with my internet connection. and hobo of doom (love the name) they cost about $1500 dollars unfortunatley, you can get a PC that will play the game better for a lot cheaper

I payed 530€ for a computer 2 or 3 years ago that runs Warband like you say yours does, so i don't think it's worth getting a 1.5k€ computer...

Oh well, at least it runs on a mac, which is surprising since TW is a relatively small company - developers dont usually bother to make it multi unless its really small or a large company.

I believe that bootcamp is a hack program on macs that allows it to run Windows only programs. So it isn't multi, but just that the OP used the hack to play M&B.
