Warband not starting up at all.

I have the exact same problem and no one has answered my thread so I wish you the best of luck.
However, I know this wont be of much use but I have been able to bypass this by going into the games files (program files(x86) Mount&Blade Warband) and then opening up the application from there, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
If you work out something better please message me cause I know hoe infuriating it is, especially after coming home after exams
