Warband/Napoleonic Wars sound bug

Hi, recently I updated Warband and bought Napoleonic Wars (on steam) and after playing NW I notice the sound bugs out at random times and either overlaps but quickly cuts off whatever sound should be playing, for a split second.

After looking on google if anyone else has my problem I couldn't find any solution/anyone else with my problem. So I went onto Warband (vanilla) and the same thing happened, sounds cuts off one another and mutes itself, or just doesnt play.

So then I tested the same thing on With Fire And Sword, and everything was fine. It seems to only be with Warband/NW and this only started since a recent update.

So please if you can, let me know of a fix for this. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is just annoying and ruins the Napoleonic Wars experience.

What settings do you have in the launcher in terms of music and sound?
(Are they disabled or not? )

Enable sound variation: on (Box ticked)
Disable sound: off (box unticked)
Disable Music: Yes (Box ticked)

if you enable music it should work. (people report that that fixed it for them)

Wow, thank you that actually fixed it. Now I can be immersed without glitchy sounds, Thanks heaps!

Not sure for this versions but in previous unticking sound variation improves stability.
