Warband Multiplayer Lancer Tournaments

I've seen quite a lot of duel tournaments in warband multiplayer and even a rare few jousting events but what I don't see however are lancer duel tournaments where players aren't only restricted to couching their lance but can freely thrust and maneuver without a fence in between. Sadly I have yet to see one of these so if some gracious host could do so it would be much appreciated as there are many lancers among us I myself being a cavalry specialist. These fights would of course ban ranged weapons and force a regulatory space to be given before each duel. Whether or not chasing is allowed will be left up to the server host. Forced equipment sets may also be imposed to even the playing field.

If only i could host a server and had a machine powerful enough to do so then maybe I would but sadly I don't so I am stuck here imploring some gracious host to do it instead.

You don't have to host a server yourself for a tournament. Does anyone know if The Ludus server has an area for cav jousting?

Aye, I've fought others in lancer duels many times in the ludus's cavalry arena but what I mean is to actually have a large event like tournament organized which I have no idea how to do.

I read a awesome guide before for server hosting. You don't really need lots of system requirements. You should post your system specs and speed test here.

Every 5kb of upload speed results in 1 player without lag. So, I have 1mb equals 1024kb. Thats 204 people I could actually host. But hosting so many would be using my system so much It would be unplayable for them. I doubt anyone would actually be able to get on the server at the exact same time so host like a 20 man server on a small jousing map and then your pretty much good.

Find your system properties by opening up start menu and going into computer and then up in top it will show system properties, put the information here. Ie: Physical Memory (Ram) Cpu etc.

EDIT: I do not have 1mb upload, although It is usually in the range, and I'm supposed to get it, but no. Earthlink sucks ass and If it wants to be 1mb cool but if not it will go down to like 1kb lol

Well, you make a thread, set the rules, people might join in, etc
