Well you guys can host them for wbmm what’s the problem ? That’s not linked to bannerlord
The point is that a bunch of modders of a 10 yo game are hosting south American servers while Bannerlord spending millions in a new building where they can continue to exploit interns

I mean that's cuz the custom servers exist ^^

You are special, "Game XXX hosts SA servers!!! So that means you are too incapable to do so!!!!"

Huhh no, it isnt game xxx it's a previous iteration of this game, and it's done and maintained by people who do this as a side job/hobby, while a big ass company refuses to put 2 cents to host an SA server.

... The point is that anyone can host a server in SA but a game company that sells said game for 40$

Economically, TW has no incentive to host SA servers tbh which is sad af. They already sold the game to their SA community, and most people are not fit for the refund options. Given how lazy TW has been with bannerlord, I would say that their only motivation is economic, it's like they don't believe in base bannerlord anymore. TW is probably thinking like this rn "What's the point of hosting SA servers if the SA community already purchased our game." and then they come with lame excuses like "Oh we are looking into it" or "But we host one server per continent and SA and NA are the same continent so you have a server".

No you just don't understand, the question if it is possible or how much work it is isn't relevant if they just don't want to do it. The fact that you can do it in Warband is irrelevant and doesn't change the fact that TW just doesn't want to do it (for now).

ppl: "We want SA servers"
TW: "We know you do and we might host some someday"
you: "but we can host it ourselves on warband!!!!"
TW: "Yes, yes you can. Good for you! So what is your point?"

First of all, they already confirmed that they won't host servers in south America ("for now" took them 2 years to confirm they're not giving us one, imagine how long till they do give us one). How it's irrelevant that a company is selling a product that doesn't work? Have I really have to point this out? If I knew before hand they won't be giving us an actual multiplayer gameplay then I wouldn't had bought the game, it's simply fake advertising and completely Taleworlds fault. And the fact that a modder does give multiplayer support to South America shows that Taleworlds @Dejan @Callum @armagan is simply because of greed and/or laziness. I think you are the one not getting the point here.

Well that's the thing, they do already have our money. Honestly I wished they could just refund me this game so I can spend that money somewhere else instead that of a Singleplayer game that's worth less in content than 4 indie titles including Warband lol. I expected this kind of greedy and selfish attitude from any triple A company but not one that was built thanks to the work of a community, guess we have to wait 2 more years till the community does the actual work.

..... That fact shows nothing new, everybody (except for you apparently) already knew this. You are just repeating words which everyone already knew lmao, it is not like hosting in SA is something very special, of course it is just priorities. That is my entire point, that your point has already seen the sun rise for 3 years every day straight and that there still isn't anything new to present. The fact that someone did it in their previous game WHOOOOOO.

Like if I bring my damn pc to Antartica, host a Warband server there and cry that TW hasn't done that in Bannerlord is just as much bs as this thread.

Thank you very much for your contribution.

Except South America has a big population of gamers? You're quoting the fact but not acknowledging it, it's like "yeah it's just south america dude, it's just like antartica". It's not crying in a forum is demanding what you've paid for. Instead of taking the contrarían side for no reason, because you really have no reason to post here than just to troll with invalid arguments, you could try and see what the company is doing wrong, which is not providing the service they've sold. It's not more than that mate, and if the argument has been repeated over and over it's because Taleworlds hasn't answered properly, not because the argument needs to evolve somehow for no reason.

South America needs Bannerlord servers. It's not like it's a small region or one that doesn't play games. Especially when you consider the cost of hosting a server and that there are (as yet) no custom servers with no ETA on when they will arrive, Taleworlds are practically robbing South American players who bought this game for its multiplayer.

How damn hard is it for them to just put up a handful of servers? They definitely have the money from making hundreds of millions of dollars on Bannerlord. I feel for you SA bros.

@armagan personally saying he would "set up South American servers as soon as possible" - two years ago - is a complete joke.
